This is a new unit at the newly constructed Signature Condominium located in downtown St. Petersburg.
Excellent location on the Bayfront and the center of all downtown activities. St. Pete just keeps getting better and better.
As with most new construction, all walls are presented pure white or an off-white. Definitely could use a little personality.
For this project we worked under the direction of Interior Designer Jennie Roque.
Jennie of Elegant Interiors added the hardwood floors and came up with the Earthy color palette to personalize the space for the new homeowners.
Sometimes it takes just a little color to warm up a space and make it truly inviting and interesting.
For the walls in the Kitchen and Dining areas we used a washable flat paint by Benjamin Moore.

This unfortunate homeowner (not in a flood zone) was the victim of flooding. An adjacent neighbor recently developed their property and altered the natural drainage of the land.
All carpeted areas were removed. And because baseboard and case molding was custom milled, we decided to salvage versus replace all interior affected trim. Our efforts were a team approach with the talents of General Contractor Ron Rybolt. Ron and his team of attention to detail carpenters gently disassembled, marked, and numbered all components of the baseboard.
As you can see our craftsmen at John Psomas Painting have the temperament to perform these time consuming, labor intensive tasks.
Once installed, all holes were filled and sanded flush, All components were meticulously caulked to the existing wallpaper and 2 coats of gloss enamel was applied by brush.
Cost effective compared to re-milling of new custom trim, yes...

We were asked to refinish all the woodwork in the stairway to it's original pristine condition.
To achieve a beautiful, uniform, long lasting enamel finish requires lots of preparation. Don't let other painters fool you...you don't just apply a coat or two of paint.
Quality finishes don't just happen. It requires sanding...lots of sanding ! That means messy dust in the air, but rest assured - we contain it all. This picture shows one of our craftsmen sanding filled and primed wainscot of our stairway.
Olde World hand painted enamel finished by skilled craftsmen.
We take great pride our work. And our homeowner could not be happier.
